Episode 8: A Lost Combat Maiden

That's right we're back. The long wait is over and hopefully we'll be more frequent with our episodes. Our latest creation includes reviews of a tragic drama anime known as Mahoromatic and a serial drama that revolves around survivors (no it isn't Survivor) known as Lost. Hope you all enjoy this episode even though our reviews are somewhat lacking this time around. We'll let you the listener look more into these fantastic shows and anime. Also noteworthy is the fact that Anime North will be held in 2 weeks time, so get your cameras and cosplay costumes ready. Remember to look for us! (I don't know how, but we'll leave signs or something :P). So that's it, have fun listening.

Time to get passing......

Yes it is that time again for Sven and I. Exams are here and we are racking our brains to scrape those decent grades. Wish us luck ^_^! But this post isn't just about our examination excuse so that we can release an episode later.....well maybe it is. Again we humbly apologize for the somewhat long delay. We thank all our listeners for sticking with us and helping us be the best we can *bows*. So keep checking the site for updates. A new episode will probably float up in the next week or so. We will be giving an in-depth look into the Toronto Anime Con seen in last post. Also our regular news and reviews. So look forward to that, and send us any questions or comments if you want. Later days!

Toronto's A-Con (not much but it's something...^_^)

So here's the little surprise. On March 17th-18th, there was a small anime convention happening here in our beautiful city of Toronto. The Toronto Anime Convention was rather cramped, but people got to know each other better. Games like Anime Name that Tune and animes such as Blood+ were played and shown. Also voice acting guests such as Laura Bailey were present. Lastly who could forget the dealer's room, which was full of nice things to buy. Now I'll leave some pics for you guys to browse. Look for full coverage of the con on our next episode (probably next week...).

Sidenote: Unfortunately my camera died, so we resorted to using Kira's camera. Let that be a lesson to all con-goers. Charge your batteries the night before or you will be stuck with just two pictures (or less) or in my case borrowing a friend's....

Kira with Sakura, Shikamaru, Hitsugaya, and Rangiku.

Ahhhh it's Lord Tamaki...

Kira thinking he's Zabuza (and Gaara if you look closely)

Pretty Kasumi ^_^

So that's it folks, again lack of photos cause my camera died. Also you may ask where are the photos of me, Daisuke, since you have now seen Sven and Kira's faces. Well I'm gonna pull an L for now and remain mysterious. Maybe another time. Stay tuned for the next ep!

Edit: Due to certain circumstances Sven won't be appearing on the Anime Roundtable (at the ComicDen.com). He'll probably be on it sometime next week...? Also most likely there won't be another episode released this week, but I'll throw in something nice later this week or early next week, k?

Episode 6: Alchemic Academy

Hey guess who's back? Yes, we are back and have a whole new episode for you guys. I know its been a while, but we are here again with a great episode. This episode we give a double anime review; sorry for all the T.V. people, but I had to give an anime review. Instead I gave a long T.V. news segment because there was a lot of T.V. news. So enjoy ^_^

Episode 6: Delayed (Sorry ppl !)

Unfortunately Episode 6 will not be appearing this week for reasons beyond our control, but we promise that next week we will have the episode up and ready for download. In the meantime just sit tight, and you can think about just where Daisuke's name comes from (anime-wise). Hmmmmm where could it be from?

Clue #3: In the english dub of the anime, Daisuke is changed to a different name.

That should narrow it down for most of you. Now please send us your emails to either animetelevisiontoronto@gmail.com or if you want svenwalker@hotmail.com. Remember there is a part 2 of the contest coming up in the next episode and you could win anime, manga, or something in the mystery box. Good luck!

Episode 5: The Society for the Study of 24

Hey guys we know its been a long time since we have done an episode but we're back and got a great show for you. This episode we review Genshiken and 24 as well as kick off our big contest that we are having. Hope you guys enjoy ^_^
